In 1913, on the occasion of the presidential election in the USA, Richard Steiff designed “Dolly”, a Teddy bear in the national colours. Until 1918, there were four colour variations with the head always remaining white. In 2021, Dolly bear replica 1913 appears, 32 cm tall, in green, coral red ruff and white head – a rare and therefore very sought-after version at the time.
